Sometimes it takes our foster dogs longer to find their forever homes not because there is anything wrong with the dog but Fate sometimes has a reason the dog is waiting around for just that right owner.

Hercules, who was the only one from his litter that didn't not look like a Doberman (85% Doberman/15% other) unfortunately took months and months waiting for a family to really appreciate this wonderful puppy and give him the best home.

Here is an update on Herkie and how he has settled in his home, I would say Fate had it right again:

"herckie is great! Fully housebroken, better in his crate, he does love to take things off of tables and counters still 🤣 the snuggles and playtime are the CUTEST

He is huge!!! Haha yes but he is SO good with "drop it" and "no". He's a Velcro dog for SURE. Cannot get close enough to us. It's the cutest ever!!"

🐾 #SweetBeginnings Alert! 🐾

We're thrilled to announce that Zero, our beloved foster dog, has found his forever home! Zero's journey began when his original owner faced health challenges, leading him and his furry companion to seek refuge with us.

In a stroke of fate, Zero was reunited with a previous adopter who had been longing for a Fawn Dobie to complete their family once more. It was love at first sight, and Zero fit right into their home and heart seamlessly.

Already, Zero and his new canine sister have formed an unbreakable bond, bringing joy and warmth to their new mom's heart. Their home feels complete again, thanks to the love and companionship of these two precious pups.

Here's to Zero and his forever family, embarking on a journey filled with love, laughter, and endless snuggles. Thank you to everyone who played a part in making this sweet beginning possible! 🏡❤️ #ForeverHome #RescueDog #ZeroIsHome

🐾❤️ A Special Announcement: Meet Jada 🐾❤️

Today, we're introducing you to one of our newest foster dogs, and she's truly one-of-a-kind. Meet Jada, a 4-year-old Rottweiler who's joining us as a hospice dog. Jada was diagnosed with Bone Cancer and is Heartworm positive, but that hasn't dampened her spirit one bit.

Our decision to welcome Jada into our rescue was driven by a simple desire: to give her all the love, comfort, and care she deserves for the time she has left. We're incredibly grateful for our volunteers, especially those with experience working with Rottweilers, who are helping us provide the best possible care for Jada.

To make Jada's days as special as can be, we're reaching out to our community for support. We'd love to shower her with toys, dog beds, and other items to make every day feel like Christmas for her. If you'd like to contribute, please visit our Amazon store and send Jada a gift.

Let's make every moment count for Jada and show her just how loved she truly is. Thank you for being a part of her journey. 🎁🐾 #JadaTheFighter #HospiceDog #EveryMomentMatters

Our SOS Program (Seniors Owning Seniors) is very near and dear to our hearts and we are so happy with the lives that our Senior dogs are having in their homes and the love that our Senior Adopters have for these dogs.

Here is an update on Annabelle one of our SOS dogs:

So many of you were involved with Annabelle so I am hoping I don't miss anyone with this update.

I am SO PROUD of Annabelle!!!!

We were invited to partake in a pack walk of graduates of Off Leash K9 Detroit. My late dobes were graduates and so is my granddobe. Katie Smith is an owner of OFK9 Detroit and someone I have worked with on several occasions. I have referred her services many times over; my sister, two friends and even my Ex. So when Katie extended an offer for Annabelle to attend today, as a guest of my son, I graciously accepted.

SHE WAS AMAZING!!!!
SHE WAS A ROCKSTAR!!!
SHE WAS A COOL CUCUMBER AND ROCKED IT IN HER TIE-DYE COAT. (She had a potty accident last night so she has to be bathed this morning and it was a little cool to be out while slightly damp so she was coated. Once it warmed up & she was dry the coat came off.)
Everyone LOVED her in her coat! She was so adorable & she behaved better than my whinny granddobe....lol.

Just wanted to share. WE LOVE HER SO MUCH! Thank you!

If you would like to support our SOS program please donate to www.dudobes.org so we can continue helping dogs like Annabelle.

All SOS dogs and owners have the following paid by the rescue: Annual vet visits, any bloodwork, all medications and prescripiton foods, and heartworm prevention and then we contribure a percent towards all other medical needs of the dogs.
